We are working on a new EP with new songs and a new drummer. We don't know when the EP will be out-but maybe late Fall. It will represent a drastic change in our sound. In the meantime, check the links below and our myspace. Thanks for hanging with us!

The spring is getting here and we are chillin' and working on new songs as well as focusing on getting out our new record The Collective Now. This process has been much slower than our last record, because life is getting in the way a bit. Music at this level is all about the balancing of your music life with "real life", and hopefully at some point your music life becomes real life. Shows will come in the summer-but they will be full of surprises, you'll have to wait.

If you want to buy our new record (the re-mastered version), you can do it through The Beechfields. We have an iTunes version too.

We have a cool announcement, we will have two new songs on the upcoming Beechfields Record Label compilation: "This City of Neighborhoods" which is either out the last week of April or early May. When the announcement comes, we will let you know. The new songs are never before heard and the comp sounds great, so we are looking forward to it. We recorded the songs ourselves so we shall see how you guys like us as pseudo-engineers.

We have been getting our music licensed through Magnatune in some interesting web and TV ads. It is always weird to see how someone else sees your music with video. For fun, check out the YouTube links:

The film called Close To Midnight has been getting into some festivals and it is a great artistic vision. We are excited to see Ken's film do so well and are honored to be a part of it.

Enjoy spring, and when summer comes, you will see us at the clubs again!

We are retooling for an EP to come out near the summer. We are not playing shows until the EP comes out (sorry) so that we can tour minty fresh! The new record, The Collective Now has been on a few "Top of 2007" lists. Here are a few: 1) The Baltimore Sun, 2) Amie St.

You can listen to some tunes from the new record at both of our labels: Magnatune, or The Beechfields Record Label. You can also listen/purchase at iTunes and our myspace page.

Some of the songs from our last record, Making Circles have worked their way onto some TV advertiments. You can check them out on You Tube...

Mike has been interviewed in the Chicago Tribune about mastering records, in relation to our re-mastered/re-sequenced release of The Collective Now, here. It is kind of cool to be in the same article as Chris Walla from Death Cab. The original story about our record in The Baltimore Sun can be read here.

Finally, a previously unreleased track will be out on the new Beechfields Record Label compilation coming in March. More details as we get them, but this is going to be really cool. We on there with Private Eleanor, Among Wolves, The Red Vines, A Cat Called Cricket, and The Honest Mistakes.

Just because we are not out there playing right now does not mean things are not still happening at camp Seldon Plan!

We just read the new Big Takeover (issue #61, please buy a copy) and read that our new record, The Collective Now, made #36 of the top 40 and was very well received! (Our first record, released in 2005, made the top 40 as well!)

The re-mastered/re-sequenced version of the new record will be available from The Beechfields Record Label on December 18th. It will be a limited-edition, short run, with lyric sheets included, a different song sequence,(and a very cheap price: $5.00). Be sure to pick up a copy on Tuesday.

Why are we allowing The Beechfields to re-release the record? Hopefully, you read the front-page of the Nov. 25th Baltimore Sun. The article explains our struggles with the mastering and sequencing of the record in the context of "the loudness wars".

If want the old version of the new record, you can now get it at iTunes by following this link.

Just a quick note to tell you that we are still working out our situation so that we can play some shows, we are currently looking for a drummer. Hopefully, you read the front-page of this past weeks Baltimore Sun, where we (and our new record) were featured in a article about CD loudness.

We have some new reviews for the new record, so check out our press page. If you have not bought the new record, you can now get it at iTunes by following this link.

Our music was used in a really swell indie film called "Close To Midnight." The film made its debut in Times Square this past weekend. It will be making the rounds on the festival circut so check it out when you can.

We have some new reviews for the new record, so check out our press page. If you have not bought the new record, you can now get it at iTunes by following this link.

We will be releasing a re-sequenced version of the new record on The Beechfields Record Label in December, so look out for that. We will also be on the forthcoming Beechfields Record Label Compilation with two new un-released tracks. The comp should be out in early 2007. Trick or treat!
